Helena Worthen retired from the University of Illinois in 2010. She and her husband, Joe Berry, taught there in the Labor Education Program in the School of Labor and Industrial Relations. They now live in Berkeley, California and will be going to Ho Chi MInh City in Vietnam in Fall 2015 to teach at Ton Duc Thang University, a trade union university created by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Her book, What Did you Learn at Work Today? Forbidden Lessons of Labor Education, won the Best Book about Labor Education award from the United Association for Labor Education in 2015. She can be reached at hworthen@illinois.edu
